Willie Howard Mays Jr., born on May 6, 1931, in Westfield, Alabama, is widely regarded as one of the greatest all-around baseball players of all time. Known as the "Say Hey Kid," Mays captivated fans with his incredible combination of power hitting, speed, and defensive brilliance.
